Urukul DDS
Kasli is a powerful FPGA controller that serves as the heart of the Sinara Open Hardware project. It is capable of controlling up to 12 Eurocard extension modules (EEMs), making it a versatile platform for a wide range of experiments.
Kasli is based on a Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA, which balances costs and range of applicability. To meet requirements of the target domains, Kasli is equipped with a circuitry for high quality clock generation with onboard oscillator and external reference input for extended clock stability.
With 4 SFP sockets available, it can connect to the network with RJ45 adapter and serve as a master for 3 satellite modules at the same time. It is also possible to use SFPs with PCIe x4 link for increased data throughput.
