Booster HL

High linearity
Open-Source

Booster HL is a modular, 8-channel RF power amplifier (40–500 MHz, 2U rack format). It combines high signal purity with an advanced protection system designed to safeguard sensitive laboratory infrastructure, making it an ideal solution for driving Acousto-Optic (AOM) and Electro-Optic Modulators (EOM).

Main features

  • Signal purity is optimized to achieve second harmonic suppression at -40 dBc.
  • The amplifier operates across a wide frequency band from 40 MHz to 500 MHz
  • Eight independent RF amplifier channels are integrated into a standard 2U 19-inch rack
  • Individual channels can be easily swapped on-site to minimize operational downtime.
  • Microsecond-reaction hardware cut-offs protect sensitive downstream instruments from damage
  • A built-in network interface provides real-time, remote monitoring of power, voltage, and current for each channel
