Pounder is an AFE module mounted on the top of Stabilizer. It is responsible for generating lock signal used in Pound Drever Hall (PDH) method. Except that the main purpose of developing this method was stabilization of light frequency in laser, it may be used in variety of applications that requires good time accuracy. Pounder’s rule of operation is based on DDS method and generates the signal in frequency range from 1 to 200 MHz in two independent channels.
