Kasli

Current version v2.0.2
ARTIQ Compatible
Open-Source

Kasli is an FPGA-based ARTIQ controller designed to interface with up to 12 Eurocard Extension Modules (EEMs). Built on the AMD Artix-7 FPGA, it offers an optimal balance between cost and computational power. Equipped with specialized clocking circuitry, Kasli can function as both an ARTIQ master or satellite, providing 3 downstream connections in either mode. The reference clock can be sourced from either the on-board oscillator or an external clock source. For external connectivity, Kasli features 4 SFP sockets, supporting a range of options such as an RJ45 adapter for Ethernet connections or a PCIe x4 link for data-intensive applications (note: PCIe support is not available in ARTIQ).
